Your First Meal Etiquette

It's the small details that we forget to ask about when we are in throws of planning our wedding! Once piece of helpful but sometimes forgotten advice is on how you and your new husband are supposed to make the first cut into the cake. The bride should put her right hand on the handle of the cake knife and the groom should put his hand over hers. Cut into the bottom tier of the cake, carefully making two triangular cuts. You will then use the other piece of cutlery that comes with the cake knife set, called the "server" to carefully remove the slice. And Voila! A piece of cake!
