Blocking Off Hotel Rooms

By 7 months prior, you should have a good idea of how many out of town guests you are expecting. If it's a large number and you do not have enough room for them to stay with local family members, blocking off hotel rooms in advance is a sure way to accommodate your guests. Try to get them in a place that is close to where your wedding is going to be held. Also something to consider when looking for a hotel is any conventions or sporting events that may be going on at the same time that may create problems with room availability.
