Photography is my passion. It started as a hobby in high school, but was put to the side as I pursued other interests. After getting married and having a daughter, I started taking courses on the techniques of photojournalism and things seemed to take off from there. I have been fortunate enough to turn something I love into a career that I enjoy very much.
It’s my greatest joy to be able to be a part of someone’s most important moments, such as a new child being welcomed into the world or the celebration of two people’s love for each other. I lean toward a documentary style of portraiture. My goal is to capture the true essence of life from the purity of a kiss, of a couple in love, siblings just goofing off, or a mother’s adoring gaze at her newborn child. Photography moves me and it shows in my work. |
